St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), 8-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, St. Charles East advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Fighting Saints travel to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to battle the Redwings in a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. The Redwings come into the match with a record of 1-2. Benet Academy won 9-3 in their recent non-league match against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL)

The Blackhawks now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield East for a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. West Aurora will battle a Bengals squad coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 2-3.
