March 27, 2025: Beacon, NY 12508 The Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) lacrosse routed the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY), 17-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wallkill for a non-league outing on Friday, April 4. Beacon will face a Panthers squad coming off a 21-2 non-league loss to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Newburgh Free Academy falls to 0-1 on the year. The Goldbacks host Goshen Central (Goshen, NY) to face the Gladiators in a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Gladiators go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
