March 27, 2025: Mars, PA 16046 The Sewickley Academy lacrosse team (Sewickley, PA), was overwhelmed 19-3 in Thursday's league battle with the host Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA)
With the victory, Mars advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Fightin' Planets travel to Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to encounter the Quakers in a WPIAL 2A 1 battle on Monday, March 31. The Quakers come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Quaker Valley lost 10-5 in their recent league battle against South Fayette (McDonald, PA)
The now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Regional for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 29. Sewickley Academy will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 11-2 league win over Indiana (Indiana, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
