March 27, 2025: Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Neptune Scarlet Fliers to 4 in the Garnet Gulls non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Garnet Gulls now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Toms River South for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Point Pleasant Beach will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 13-10 league win over Brick Township (Brick, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Neptune falls to 1-1 on the year. The Scarlet fliers host Middletown North (Middletown, NJ) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
