The South Mecklenburg Sabres the host Butler Bulldogs lacrosse team by a tally of 9-5 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Sabres play the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 28. South Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 15-6 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).
