In Thursday's non-league test, the St. Joseph Academy Flashes (St. Augustine, FL) lacrosse team edged the host Foundation Academy Lions (Winter Garden, FL), by a count of 9-8.

Next up, the Flashes battle the Newberry Panthers (Newberry, FL) in a 1A D3 test, on Tuesday, April 1. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Panthers enter the test with a 6-5 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Eastside (Gainesville, FL).
