Oklahoma High School Soccer - Chisholm nudges Alva
March 27, 2025: Alva, OK 73717 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Chisholm Longhorns (Enid, OK) and the host Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK), saw Chisholm's soccer squad hold off Alva by a count of 2-1.
The Longhorns (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Atoka (Atoka, OK). The Wampus Cats enter the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Atoka was edged by Santa Fe South Pathways Middle College (Oklahoma City, OK), 10-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Goldbugs confront the McLoud Redskins (McLoud, OK) in a 4A District 3 battle, on Monday, March 31. Alva will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Redskins enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 14-0 league loss to Crossings Christian (Oklahoma City, OK).
