Virginia High School Soccer - Hayfield nudged by West Springfield
March 27, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22315 The West Springfield Spartans held off the host Hayfield Hawks soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) in a Patriot game, on Tuesday, April 1. West Springfield will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Bruins come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Westfield (Chantilly, VA).
The Hawks (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms come into the National game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Annandale edged Westfield (Chantilly, VA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
