March 27, 2025: Herndon, VA 20170 Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Herndon moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Wakefield (Arlington, VA) to meet the Warriors in a Liberty test on Tuesday, April 1. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-1. Wakefield won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Justice (Falls Church, VA)
The Seahawks now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. South Lakes will meet a Colonials team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 0-4.
