In Thursday's non-league match, the host Covenant Day Lions softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Ambassador Christian School Lions.

The Lions (11-1) will now prepare for their match against High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, High Point Christian Academy notched a victory over Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC), 10-0, in a non-league match.
