March 27, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70507 The Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) softball routed the host Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA), 15-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Broncos now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a 5A District 3 outing on Tuesday, April 1. Sam Houston will encounter a Lions team coming off a 5-3 league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA). The Lions record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Carencro moves to 1-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Southside (Youngsville, LA) to encounter the Sharks in a 5A District 3 outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Sharks come into the outing with a record of 13-8. Southside won 14-3 in their recent league outing against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)
