Tennessee High School Softball - Sullivan East edges Cherokee
March 27, 2025: Bluff City, TN 37618 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sullivan East Patriots softball team scored a tight 6-4 victory over the Cherokee Chiefs.
The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN). The Longhorns go into the non-league match with a 1-7 record. In their last match, Johnson County by South Greene (Greeneville, TN), 16-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) in a 3A District 2 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Cherokee will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Falcons go into the match with a 6-0 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Chuckey-Doak (Afton, TN).
