The Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) softball routed the host Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS), 15-8 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yazoo County for a non-league outing on Friday, March 28. Morton will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.
