Kentucky High School Baseball - Dyer County defeats Graves County
March 27, 2026: Mayfield, KY 42066 In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Dyer County Choctaws baseball squad scored a tight 7-1 triumph over the Graves County Eagles.
With the triumph, Dyer County advances its record to 12-3 on the season. The Choctaws travel to Crockett County (Alamo, TN) to battle the Cavaliers in a 3A District 13 match on Monday, March 30. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 13-2. Crockett County won 10-4 in their recent non-league match against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL)
The Eagles now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary for a non-league test on Saturday, March 28. Graves County will play a Vikings team coming off a 19-1 non-league win over Calloway County (Murray, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 6-0.
