With the triumph, Leake Central advances its record to 2-9 on the season. The Gators host Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 31. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 2-11. Choctaw Central lost 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS)
The Bulldogs now have a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Gibson for a non-league match on Friday, April 3. Lanier will battle a Blue Waves squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Callaway (Jackson, MS). The Blue Waves record now stands at 11-3.
