Nelson (Happy Valley, OR) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball team beat the visiting Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR), 7-1 in a non-league test.

The now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league test on Saturday, March 28. Nelson will play a Eagles team coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to North Salem (Salem, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Liberty drops to 2-2 on the year. The Falcons host David Douglas (Portland, OR) to battle the Scots in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 28.
