The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Lyons Lions (Lyons, CO) and the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), saw Lyons's baseball team beat Platte Canyon by a final score of 12-2.

With the triumph, Lyons moves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Peyton (Peyton, CO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 28. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 3-1. Peyton won 17-9 in their recent non-league game against Ellicott (Calhan, CO)

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) in a 3A/2A Frontier match, on Wednesday, April 1. Platte Canyon will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
