The Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC) softball routed the visiting Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), 12-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Knights now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocky Mount for a Big East 5A/6A outing on Tuesday, March 31. Northern Nash will encounter a Gryphons team coming off a 19-4 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 0-8.
