In Friday's non-league test, the Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL), by a tally of 10-2.

With the triumph, Central improves its record to 10-9 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to face the Hornets in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 1. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 14-9.

The Fighting Saints now hold a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pell City for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 28. St. Clair County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Moody (Moody, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-6.
