The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) and the host Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA), observed Pleasant Valley's softball team get by Christian Brothers by a tally of 7-3.

The Vikings (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, Rio Americano was routed by Inderkum (Sacramento, CA), 11-4, in a league contest.
