In Friday's non-league test, the Selma Bears (Selma, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA), by a tally of 12-3.

Next, the Bears clash with the Wasco Tigers (Wasco, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 27. Selma will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 11-0 non-league win over Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA).

In their next game, the Generals battle the Tulare Western Mustangs (Tulare, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 28. Shafter will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Monache (Porterville, CA).
