New York High School Lacrosse - Copiague held off by John Glenn
March 28, 2022: Copiague, NY 11726 John Glenn Knights (Elwood, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Copiague Eagles (Copiague, NY), 7-6 in a non-league battle.
The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sayville for a Section 11 II battle on Wednesday, March 30.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Lindenhurst Bulldogs (Lindenhurst, NY) in a Section 11 I battle, on Tuesday, March 29. Copiague will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Westhampton Beach (Westhampton Beach, NY).
