March 28, 2022: Woodruff, SC 29388 The Woodruff Wolverines soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Greer Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Monday.
Next, the Wolverines face the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAA Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, March 29. Woodruff will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Centurions enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Union County (Union, SC).
The Yellow Jackets now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Laurens for a AAAA Region 2 contest on Tuesday, March 29. Greer will face a Raiders team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Dixie (Due West, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 5-0.
