Virginia High School Soccer - Warhill knocks off Woodside
March 28, 2022: Williamsburg, VA 23188 Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA) in a Bay Rivers challenge, on Wednesday, March 30. Warhill will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Packers enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Warhill (Williamsburg, VA).
The Wolverines now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage for a Peninsula challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Woodside will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-2.
