West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Reidsville for a Mid-State 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 29. West Stokes will battle a Rams squad coming off a 20-2 league loss to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Rams record now stands at 1-4.
