The Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) softball routed the host McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), 14-7 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Storm (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY). The Panthers go into the District 7 bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Dawson Springs was routed by Crittenden County (Marion, KY), 17-0, in a non-league bout.
