March 28, 2023: Branson, MO 65616 Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Branson Pirates (Branson, MO), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lakes upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Neosho (Neosho, MO) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 29. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the defeat, Branson falls to 1-2 on the season. The Pirates host Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS) to battle the Saints in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1.
