Virginia High School Soccer - King George knocks off Mechanicsville
March 28, 2023: King George, VA 22485 King George Foxes (King George, VA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs (Mechanicsville, VA), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Foxes confront the James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 31. King George will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
The Mustangs now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host New Kent for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Mechanicsville will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.
