Georgia High School Soccer - Social Circle overwhelmed by Eastside
March 28, 2023: Social Circle, GA 30025 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) and the host Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA), saw Eastside's soccer squad triumph over Social Circle by a margin of 7-0.
The Eagles now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Flowery Branch for a 5A Region 8 test on Friday, March 31. Eastside will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Social Circle drops to 10-5 on the season. The Redskins host Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to meet the War Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, March 30. The War Eagles come into the test with a record of 11-2. Putnam County won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Greene County (Greensboro, GA)
