McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes confront the Durant Lions (Durant, OK) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, April 4. McAlester will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK).

The Warriors now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hale for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31.
