Kansas High School Softball - Manhattan bounces McPherson
March 28, 2023: Manhattan, KS 66502 Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Topeka for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. Manhattan will face a Trojans squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, McPherson falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bullpups host Circle (Towanda, KS) to face the Thunderbirds in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Circle lost 15-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Augusta (Augusta, KS)
