Georgia High School Baseball - Academy for Classical Education defeats Jasper County
March 28, 2024: Macon, GA 31210 Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA), 8-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Academy for Classical Education upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, March 29. The Knights come into the test with a record of 12-1. Calvary Christian won 16-0 in their recent league test against Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA)
With the defeat, Jasper County falls to 8-10 on the season. The Hurricanes host Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA) to battle the Wolverines in a 1A D-I Area 5 test on Tuesday, April 2. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 13-1. Prince Avenue Christian won 12-10 in their recent non-league test against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA)
