Arkansas High School Baseball - Russellville gets by Northside
March 28, 2024: Russellville, AR 72802 Russellville Cyclones (Russellville, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northside Grizzlies (Fort Smith, AR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Russellville upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Cyclones host Alma (Alma, AR) to battle the Airedales in a 5A West test on Tuesday, April 2. The Airedales come into the test with a record of 7-5. Alma won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Ozark (Ozark, AR)
With the defeat, Northside falls to 4-8 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Rogers (Rogers, AR) to battle the Mountaineers in a 6A West test on Tuesday, April 2. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 13-2.
