Utah High School Soccer - American Prep WV knocks off Summit Academy
March 28, 2024: West Valley City, UT 84119 American Prep WV Eagles (West Valley City, UT) backers went home satisfied Thursday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Summit Academy Bears (Bluffdale, UT), 9-0 in a non-league test.
The Eagles now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Utah Military Academy - Hill Field for a 2A Region 16 test on Tuesday, April 9. American Prep WV will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 9-1 league loss to Merit Preparatory Academy (Springville, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Summit Academy drops to 1-6 on the season. The Bears host American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, April 8. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 3-5.
