Georgia High School Soccer - Long County overwhelmed by Savannah Country Day
March 28, 2024: Savannah, GA 31419 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Savannah Country Day Hornets (Savannah, GA) and the visiting Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA), saw Savannah Country Day's soccer squad triumph over Long County by a count of 7-2.
The Hornets now hold a 11-0 record. They play next when they travel to Benedictine for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 2. Savannah Country Day will meet a Cadets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA). The Cadets record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Long County drops to 11-3 on the season. The Blue tide host Groves (Garden City, GA) to meet the Rebels in a 3A Area 3 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 5-2. Groves won 4-0 in their recent league test against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA)
