March 28, 2024: Akron, OH 44319 The Montini Catholic Broncos routed the host Coventry Comets softball squad by a tally of 11-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Broncos now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Edward for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 4. Montini Catholic will battle a Green Wave squad coming off a 22-1 non-league loss to Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL). The Green Wave record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Coventry falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Woodridge (Peninsula, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Metro Athletic Conference challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Woodridge lost 14-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL)
