Kansas High School Softball - Hugoton bounces Elkhart
March 28, 2024: Elkhart, KS 67950 Hugoton Eagles (Hugoton, KS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS), 20-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goodland for a GWAC challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Hugoton will battle a Cowboys squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Mulvane (Mulvane, KS). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Elkhart falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Sublette (Sublette, KS) to battle the Larks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Larks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
