Pennsylvania High School Softball - Franklin Regional gets by Mars
March 28, 2024: Mars, PA 16046 The Franklin Regional Panthers nipped the host Mars Fightin' Planets softball squad by a final score of 10-9 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Warriors go into the WPIAL 5A 2 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Penn-Trafford held off Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
The Fightin' Planets now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Western Beaver for a WPIAL 5A 3 battle on Friday, April 5. Mars will meet a Golden Beavers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Skyline (Scottsboro, AL). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 0-2.
