California High School Softball - Vintage nudges St. Helena

The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Vintage Crushers (Napa, CA) and the host St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA), saw Vintage's softball squad nip St. Helena by a count of 6-5.

The Crushers now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Casa Grande for a Vine Valley match on Wednesday, April 3. Vintage will face a Gauchos squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Petaluma (Petaluma, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, St. Helena moves to 8-3 on the season. The Saints host Upper Lake (Upper Lake, CA) to meet the Cougars in a North Central I battle on Tuesday, April 9. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-3.
