The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots (Kinston, NC) and the visiting Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC), saw Arendell Parrott Academy's baseball team beat Lawrence Academy by a margin of 8-6.

The Patriots (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights enter the NCISAA Coastal Plain battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Greenfield held off Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
