Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, IL) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Frankfort Redbirds (West Frankfort, IL), 11-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Chester advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL) to battle the Hawks in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2. The Hawks come into the match with a record of 1-5.

The Redbirds now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waltonville for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 2.
