New Mexico High School Baseball - Cleveland nips La Cueva
March 28, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87122 In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Cleveland Storm baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the La Cueva Bears.
The Storm (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the non-league game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Carlsbad nudged Goddard (Roswell, NM), 10-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bears play the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 29. La Cueva will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Rockets go into the game with a 5-4 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
