Louisiana High School Baseball - Destrehan defeats Haynes Academy
March 28, 2025: Destrehan, LA 70047 The Destrehan Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Haynes Academy to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now own a 14-10 record. They take the field next when they host Central Lafourche for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Destrehan will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-15.
With the defeat, Haynes Academy drops to 13-9 on the year. The travel to Fisher (Lafitte, LA) to clash with the Gators in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Gators go into the test with a record of 13-7. Fisher lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA)
