Kentucky High School Baseball - West Carter wallops East Ridge
March 28, 2025: Olive Hill, KY 41164 The West Carter Comets baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting East Ridge Warriors to 1 in the Comets non-league win on Friday.
The Comets now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan County for a District 62 test on Monday, March 31. West Carter will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, East Ridge drops to 0-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to East Carter (Grayson, KY) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 3-2. East Carter won 10-3 in their recent non-league test against Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY)
