Arkansas High School Baseball - Gentry holds off Jacksonville
March 28, 2025: Gentry, AR 72734 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR) and the visiting Jacksonville Titans (Jacksonville, AR), saw Gentry's baseball team beat Jacksonville by a margin of 7-3.
The Pioneers (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against White Station (Memphis, TN). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, White Station was overwhelmed by South Side (Bee Branch, AR), 10-6, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Titans face the Dardanelle Sand Lizards (Dardanelle, AR) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 29. Jacksonville will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Sand Lizards enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 19-3 league win over Waldron (Waldron, AR).
