Missouri High School Baseball - Lafayette loses to St. Francis Borgia
March 28, 2025: St. Joseph, MO 64505 St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO), 11-5 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, St. Francis Borgia advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Rolla (Rolla, MO) to battle the Bulldogs in a Class 5 District 5 match on Saturday, March 29. The Bulldogs come into the match with a record of 3-3. Rolla won 10-4 in their recent league match against St. Francis Borgia (Washington, MO)
The Fighting Irish now have a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league match on Saturday, March 29. Lafayette will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to North Point (Wentzville, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.
