The Wildwood Wildcats baseball squad (Wildwood, FL), was overwhelmed 18-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Lake Weir Hurricanes (Ocala, FL)

With the triumph, Lake Weir moves its record to 8-11 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to North Marion (Citra, FL) to confront the Colts in a 3A District 6 contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Colts come into the contest with a record of 9-10. North Marion won 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against Columbia (Lake City, FL)

The Wildcats now possess a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John Lutheran for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 8.
