The Mt. Whitney Pioneers baseball squad (Visalia, CA), was edged 6-5 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA)

With the triumph, Washington Union moves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Kerman (Kerman, CA) to confront the Lions in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 2. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 7-3. Kerman won 9-3 in their recent non-league contest against San Luis Obispo (San Luis Obispo, CA)

The Pioneers now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monache for a East Yosemite contest on Tuesday, April 1. Mt. Whitney will confront a Marauders squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 7-4.
