The Northwest Area Rangers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Susquehanna Sabers to 1 in the Rangers non-league win on Friday.

The Rangers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benton for a Mid-Penn D4 test on Monday, March 31. Northwest Area will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 6-1 league win over Sullivan County (Laporte, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Susquehanna drops to 0-1 on the year. The Sabers host Mountain View (Kingsley, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a Lackawanna 4 test on Wednesday, April 2. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-1.
