Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Waynesboro defeats South Western
March 28, 2025: Hanover, PA 17331 The Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA) baseball trounced the host South Western Mustangs (Hanover, PA), 9-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern York for a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Waynesboro will clash with a Polar Bears team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, South Western drops to 0-6 on the year. The Mustangs host William Penn (York, PA) to clash with the Bearcats in a YAIAA 1 challenge on Monday, March 31. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. William Penn won 14-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Antietam (Reading, PA)
